Here at Oaken we share a passion for all things 3D and creative. This includes an avid love of games. We regularly work with game creators to provide them with high quality 3D assets and animations and are currently exploring our own internal game projetcs
Oaken Studios is a creative media studio founded in 2017 specializing in 3D Animation with a focus on strong storytelling and high-end visuals.
From films and game to TV adverts and product marketing videos, we are always looking for exciting new ways to use CGI to tell compelling stories.
We are based in Derry in the North of Ireland and are currently involved in a number of exciting projects that we will share with the public as soon as possible.
Over the years Mike has been involved in the production of several successful TV shows. contributing to two multi-award winning Disney TV series, 'Doc McStuffins' and 'Henry Hugglemonster', as well as the very successful 'Octonauts' and later playing an important role in the development of 'Go Jetters' for the BBC. He has also been involved with a number of other projects including the Danger Mouse revival and the multi-award winning short film 'Geist'.

Rich has over 18 years experience within the creative industries. He started his career at the world famous Abbey Road Studios working on the website for The Beatles '1' release. In 2008 Rich became the Head of Metropolis Creative, a creative agency and design studio working on projects such as The Beatles 'Yellow Submarine', Stevie Wonder's 'Live at Last' and the BVA award-winning 'Take That presents The Circus'. In 2014 Rich launched Type40, a creative video production company. Recent work includes the Grammy award winning 'The Beatles – Eight Days a Week' directed by Ron Howard.
